Halo 4 will work on Surface Tablets

tl;dr

Short answer is simple, play Halo 4 on your tablet huzza!

Confirmed by Microsoft during an interview with VentureBeat, Don Mattrick, Microsoft’s president for interactive entertainment business said that Halo 4 will work on the Surface Tablet as well as the Xbox 360. For those who aren't into tech, Microsoft's Surface tablet is like the name says, it's a tablet. However the tablet is being made by Microsoft itself and will run Windows 8 RT (the ARM processors) or Windows 8 Pro (The x86 processors, like Intel and AMD).

Super Jealous of that blue keyboard....

Not much info was given after that. Information like if it will be released the same time as Surface will, which is confirmed for a late October release. Or will other manufacturers that build Windows 8 tablets be able to have Halo 4? Will it run on Windows RT as well, or just Pro? How do you control Master Chief? (Guessing the keyboard) Will you be able to play with your friends on Xbox LIVE or just against other Windows 8 users? So many questions... None of them answered. For now.

So what do you guys think? Wouldn't it be interesting to see someone walking down the street swearing to the tablet's mic as he gets killed online? Should be an interesting... "Experience".

Something tells me this won't be what we expect. Probably some weird "SmartGlass" feature with Waypoint, but I can't imagine why they'd port Halo 4 in its entirety to tablets. It seems like a huge waste of time.

Perhaps it's to promote Windows 8? After all you can plug a 360 controller to a PC and works fine and they did do Halo 1 and 2 for PC back in the old days.

It certainly would be an interesting experience trying to play a fps on a tablet! Also if you add a keyboard to it, its not a tablet anymore its a netbook with a touch screen!
