Most of this doesn't surprise me. Nintendo is probably rolling in money.

Nothing that really appeals to me is on that list. I'd probably say the same thing about the North America best sellers.
Nitroklop
Really sad to see RE6 that high.

It still sold purely because it had the RE name. We should all stop buying sequels just because they happen to have the name of a game that was great. For me a good example is Dragon Age. Freaking awesome game. I was ready to pre-order the sequel but thank god for some reason I did not and waited for the reviews. That thing is a disaster and since then I don't pre order simply because its a sequel of. I wait for reviews or for a demo or go check it out at a friends house. If we stop buying horrible sequels the companies need to change something. Simple as that

Don't think I've ever looked forward to an Animal Crossing game this much, or maybe its just that I need some more games for my 3DS. Either way I'm pumped!

I knew One Piece was ultra popular in Japan, but I never would have thought it would be the 6th best selling game of 2012 (in Japan anyways)
Raggle Fraggle
Damn, Kid Icarus Uprising was at 28? That sucks.
RiaraTan
Not a single Xbox 360 or Playstation Vita game on the list. I knew xbox hasn't even been a passing thought over there but the lack of Vita doesn't seem good Sony.
ZeroMilan
Yeah, I doubt the Vita will do good in Japan, unless a new Monster Hunter is released for it
Nitroklop
Monster Hunter did wonders for the PSP in Japan, so I wouldn't be surprised if the same happened with the vita.
