I'd say yes mostly because it probably means they can spend a lot more time getting used to all the special stuff and effects the Wii U can provide and less on the visuals considering Wind Waker has aged very well.

As much as I love Wind Waker it doesn't really need a remake. The graphics don't even look like they've aged at all on the GC. If they added enough extra content then I guess it could be worth it.

This is how you do a re-make.

I've died. I've died and gone to a place where the Super Nintendo never ended and instead just kept growing in power. Why did they change its name to "Wii U" though?

i personally think the graphics look amazing. it looks almost like a new zelda game by itself
Limbo
Not really needed. Wind Wakers graphics will never age, it still looks great to this day

It looks alright, but I personally think the Gamecube version genuinely looks better. Wind Waker featured beautiful cel-shaded graphics that have barely aged since its release. I would honestly prefer it if Nintendo took the lazy route and just made a higher resolution version of the game.

It looks beautiful, but I'd rather see these visuals in a new Zelda game. Part of WW's charm was the old-school cell-shading and I'm not sure if I like it in HD.

Looks beautiful, yeah ... but ... seriously Nintendo? Why are you remaking Wind Waker when you could be making a new toon Zelda game instead? I loved Wind Waker. Still one of my fav ToZ games. However, I just can't get behind this "HD" version. I've already played this game. I want something new, please! I would LOVE to see a new game in the same style as WW. Not ... just ... the same game. Lazy.

I guess you missed the part where they said that this remake is a supplement while the new LoZ title is being developed. This is purely meant to tide Zelda fans over until the new title is released. So that makes 2 Zelda titles currently in development.
