should've remade Majora's Mask or Twilight Princess.

Why Twilight Princess? It was released during Wii era, so they wouldn't just remake that. Also, I have a feeling that Nintendo will re-release Majora's Mask on 3DS

Sure it looks nice but unless they do some MAJOR reworking i don't see any point in remakes, why would I want to buy the same game twice (Unless I don't currently have the original or they dramatically change the game for the better like pokemon heart gold/soulsilver)

Its not for you. Its for the millions of people who never bought the GC (its the worst selling of Nintendos home consoles) and also for those who did have a GC but somehow never bought the game. So if you are a new fan to the series, a person who missed out on the GC or a person (like myself) who owned the original but played it when it first came out ages ago and wants a replay it and wouldn't mind paying for it again to have better visuals that also look good on my HD tv and not blurry and also can be played as a portable straight on the Wii U tablet when laying down...... yeah, this is perfect.

Also, as they said in the Nintendo Direct, this is a transition game. They didn't even try to play this as a big announcement. It was just "we have that NEW ZELDA GAME everyone wants........its not really even close to done yet but here are some details. While we were working on it we experimented with some graphic styles and this was one of the tech demos. As a result it looked really good and we thought why not just give our team some experience with making this port. So here you go if you didn't get to play it"

Its a good plan really. Learn the power of your console, work out some graphical tricks, etc on a port of a game that already is awesome and won't take up that much time and then use those tricks on the main course.

In the Direct, they said they are improving the gameplay.
