I Am Alive is rated by ESRB, comes with machete
Once considered dead, I Am Alive seems to keep on kickin'. Now the ESRB has rated the title as "Mature", coming after Australia's rating, and that teaser trailer. It even shows the platforms and gives a brief description.
Personally, I found the most interesting bit was in the game's description. Your character has "a machete" and uses it "to kill human enemies". "Battles are accompanied by realistic gunfire." Bored... I had hoped for a more interesting survival elements, but it appears to be the same post-apocalyptic world we have grown accustomed to. Psychopaths everywhere. It would be nice to see a character spend more time battling the elements, rather than post-apocalyptic crazies.
While Ubisoft hasn't confirmed that this game is actually being released, they have left the site running. I suppose that is something to cling to. The ESRB have also revealed that the game will be coming out on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.

How can this game be rated, yet clearly not anywhere near release seeing as we've seen nothing official whatsoever from the game for years.

Aww I was hoping it would come with a REAL machete. Machetes make everything better.
