I love it when pop culture goes 8-bit

3/29/12 1:00pm

With our recent fan art being so popular, I felt this 8-bit take on movie posters might resonate with the community as well. A product of graphic designer Eric Palmer, these de-makes of modern cinema put normal posters to shame. Despite how you feel about pixel art, at least admit that the Titanic poster is how you always envisioned Mr. DiCaprio’s demise. If you like them, buy a print from Society6 or at least drop a comment for Eric on his page. Enjoy!

I think megaman 2 would have been a different game had the sprite looked like joker.

Most of these are pretty good jokes about the movie it's based on, but a couple actually work great at encapsulating the whole movie in a single frame. That 2001: A Space Odyssey image I would seriously have framed and put on my wall, it's that good. The Office Space one is also very good.
