Injustice: Gods Among Us is set to be bigger than Mortal Kombat

With developer NetherRealm coming off their highly successful revamp of the Mortal Kombat series, many fans and gamers alike are wondering how the developer's second title, Injustice: Gods Among Us, will hold up.
Recently, NetherRealm senior producer Adam Urbao took part in an interview with NowGamer in which he revealed some details on the amount of content gamers should expect from the upcoming superhero fighting game.
First off, Urbao pointed out that the team at NeatherRealm wants to keep the same "tournament-level depth" that was found in Mortal Kombat (also called Mortal Kombat 9).
Keeping with the Mortal Kombat theme, Adam also added...
"We're planning to have more content in Injustice than we had in MK9."
In addition, Urbao also touched on the DLC side of things as he pointed out the problems the studio faced with their last title and how they plan to fix it this time around...
"We also paid a lot of attention to the things we know we need to improve. We weren't happy with how we handled 'compatibility packs' for DLC play so we have a whole new system that ensures all players get the content they need."
Finally, Adam realizes that online play is an important feature in today's games, and said the team at NetherRealm has spent two years developing the game's netcode.
