Insert beer to continue: Arcade game rewards players with brew
The future of Arcade games is here. Okay, not really.
North Carolina-based advertisement agency McKinney combined two of the best things in the world: beer and video games (Disclaimer: Beer might not be the best thing in the world.) You know how you always had to lug a bunch of quarters around when hitting the Arcades? Well, with their new game The Last Barfighter, you can say goodbye to coinage and hello to alcohol-fueled fights. All you need to do is place an empty beer cup on a tray and you're all set to fight your buddies in a tournament fighter that kind of looks like those made-up games they sometimes have on The Simpsons. And the best part? The winner is rewarded by getting his cup refilled.
Alright, so the game doesn't exactly look like it can compete with the likes of Street Fighter and there are only 5 characters to pick from, but you get beer. I say: EVO 2013 or bust.

I GET THIS... I like it, but I also can't side with them when the inevitable lawsuits come about,,,, it really is a winning combo, but automated and drinking just seems to breed stupidity... we shall see

It might be stupidity, but it's the kind of stupidity I love. I hope this comes to my town in one of the places. I'll beer there a lot. I hope it comes to Blazin' Buffalo Wings. In fact, I might go show them this.
