Insomniac to create new Ratchet and Clank for 10 year anniversary

To add more fuel to the fire, Insomniac is going to revisit the Ratchet and Clank series by releasing a new downloadable title for PSN. This “fun-sized” entry in the series is meant to follow the Ratchet and Clank Collection due out this summer, with an expected fall release. The game will officially be called Ratchet and Clank: Full Frontal Assault.

Insomniac CEO, Ted Price says the game will have that ‘classic feel’ with the usual third-person gameplay and weapons. There are also hints that there might be online play and Ted says we should stay tuned because there will be a "special surprise for North American fans". Maybe a new retail release in a year or two? Ratchet and Clank: Full Frontal Assault is coming Fall of 2012 to PSN.
