It looks like Binding of Isaac is coming to consoles
There has been a lot of tempered hype for the indie title Binding of Isaac, but it has slowly been building in the bowels of the Internet. Now it looks like it has paid off, with the game’s creator Edmund McMillen revealing on his blog that it will be remade as Binding of Isaac: Rebirth for home consoles. The port will be developed by Nicalis and is currently slated to be on PS3, Vita, and PC; with negotiations for an XBLA, eShop, and iOS version.
The remake will feature all the elements of Binding of Isaac including the expansion, Wrath of Lamb. It will also have local two-player co-op, a 16-bit art style, new music and more. For those of you who don’t know, Binding of Isaac is a twin-stick shooter Roguelike. It follows a little boy as he battles hordes of monsters in his life. The interaction of Isaac in this world is a bit like the old Zelda dungeons you know and love. More Vita love is the best kind of love.
