Japan gets El Shaddai Novelization
Ignition Entertainment announced today that they are working in collaboration with PHP Institute (no, you don't have to have heard of them) to create a novelization of their most recent game El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron. The entire project will be handled by Sawaki Takeyasu, the director of the game, who will plan, write and illustrate the novel. It is scheduled for publishing in Spring 2012.
While the novel has only been confirmed for Japan so far, I'd hazard a guess that the chances of it being released overseas is not too slim. And besides, with Takeyasu (who also worked on Devil May Cry and Ōkami) handling the illustrations it might even be worth to import the book just for the artwork alone. Anyone planning to pick this up?

Now if this isn't redundant IDK what is... El Shaddai ALREADY has a "Novelization." The apocryphal/biblical text it's BASED ON called "The Book of Enoch"
Wait does this mean the book of Enoch is being Translated into Japanese? XD

I actually looked it up and there already is a Japanese translation of the Book of Enoch. So...yeah. I guess this'll be a remake/rewrite/whatever? :P
