Joe Danger Touch is on it's way to iOS devices

1/4/13 9:01pm

Well, it looks like popular stuntman/daredevil Joe Danger will be making his way to iOS devices in the upcoming Joe Danger Touch, which releases this January. However, developer Hello Games isn't about to make Joe's mobile debut a straight port of the popular PSN an XBLA titles.

According to CVG, Joe Danger Touch was built from scratch, as Hello Games has included all-new characters and stages this time around. Also, a new feature will be implemented, allowing users to use GameCentre to send your friends various challenges.

In-app purchases will be present, but thankfully all of the game's content can eventually be accessed for free by just playing through the game. When speaking to CVG, Hello Games' Sean Murray made sure to point out that this version of Joe Danger is unique on it's own...

"I don't think Joe Danger Touch feels like anything else I've ever played before. I want it to feel like it could only work on iOS, because we built it specifically for that device."

Murray also mentioned that the game's playtesters drew comparisons to many of the iOS' most popular titles...

"Playtesters keep telling me it's a nice blend of their favorite games on iPhone - Bike Baron, Jetpack Joyride and Rayman Jungle Run."

What do you think, g1s? Will Joe Danger Touch find a home on your iOS device? Or should he leave his stunts on the consoles? Let us know by leaving a comment below!
