The kickass $10k PC gaming chair from Japan
Are you serious about PC gaming? Like, really serious? We're talking Al Gore cereal here. If so, then you might want to hop on over to Japan, where the Modernity Emperor 1510 gaming chair can currently be taken for a spin in Akihabara, Tokyo. This piece of equipment that would make Emperor Palpatine jealous (and suspiciously looks like the bikes in Gantz) features 3 huge LCD screens, an integrated BOSE 2.1 sound system as well as hydraulics to adjust both your chair and the LCD screens via buttons on the control panel. People who have tried it were awed by the sense of immersion the setup offers.
Yeah, it's probably pretty awesome for porn too.
You can pick one of these babies up for only ¥840,000,00 (~$10,756). That doesn't include the screens by the way, those you'll have to pay extra for. And obviously you'll need a PC to put inside it.
Can you imagine a LAN party where everyone has one of these chairs? Would be like The Matrix or something. So, how many are you gonna pick up?
