Kingdom Hearts 3DS bundle heads to Japan

Those of you excited for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance better get ready to put your glad rags on, because there's even more to look forward to.
A black 3DS console will be painted up Kingdom Hearts-style as part of the title's upcoming 3D bundle for Japan. The bundle lands in Japan on March 29th; and 10th Anniversary edition of the game will also be available though there are no further details yet.
I have to say, between this latest makeover, the Legend of Zelda paint job, and the Metal Gear Solid get-up, I'm really liking the game-specific treatment that the 3DS has been getting.

butbutbut...I already bought a 3DS at launch. Yet another reason to make me wish I waited. Though saying that is kind of BS at this point as I said the same thing when the special Zelda one came out. I'll probably be saying it again when they release another. Maybe I should just look in to getting some kind of skin for my 3DS and stop my bitching...

I ONLY bought a 3DS because of the news that a Kingdom Hearts game was coming out on it. So I figured I might as well buy a 3DS bundled with a video game for the same price as a 3DS and enjoy a free game, but now I'm having buyer's remorse. I much rather turn in my Mario 3D Land and Red 3DS for that beauty of a hand held.

Well there's no guarantee that the KH 3DS will be released outside of Japan (sadly a lot of these things usually aren't) and since it's region locked, importing it probably wouldn't be as useful to you. So getting a 3DS might not be a waste after all...

Region locked? Shame they don't go the Sony route and let you pick your region and then lock it.

Sweet mother, I was planning on by a 3DS soley because of this game and now this...please let them release this in America...we would love you forever. Also a question if any can answer: can the 3DS play other games from handhelds?

Just like you I was angry at S.E. for releasing a Kingdom Hearts game on the 3DS because then I would HAVE to get one and so I did on Black Friday. I really really hope they don't release it in the States like Sony did for the PSP because I don't think I could say no to buying it. It looks so good though....I ALL MOST want them to release it in the states though.
