Kingdom Hearts X (chi) comes to browsers tomorrow
Kingdom Hearts X is the "let's see what Mickey Mouse looks like on this system" spin-off of Square-Enix-meets-Disney cash cow that nobody asked for or expected – the spin-off, not the cash cow. And, apparently, it goes live tomorrow.
For those that don't obsessively follow Kingdom Hearts in all its forms like me, Kingdom Hearts X (pronounced as "chi" or "Key")is a browser based, free to play, card combat game that has players create their own avatars as they explore the worlds of the Kingdom Hearts series such as Argrabah of Aladdin, Wonderland of the good Alice and Wonderland, Dwarf Woodlands of Snow White and city-in-perinial-center-of-the-shit-storm Radiant Garden – all presented in a delightful chibi art style. Supposedly, this game also tells the story of the series' mythical "Keyblade War," but how one tells a story in such a format is lost to me.

The game was originally scheduled to stay in beta until Aug. 1, but Square has decided to suddenly move up the release date to tomorrow. Gee, for a company with such an impeccable record with releasing online games ahead of schedule, what could possibly go wrong?!
I'm still gonna play it though. I don't care if it is in a language I don't understand! It's a better waste of time on the computer than Farmville.
....you will never go on an adventure with Hercules...go trip on a curb.
Perhaps, but the story itself is years beyond anything they try to pass off as "story" in CoD
Kingdom Hearts. One of the dumbest games on the planet that only caters to people's unhealthy and sometimes kind of insane Disney nostalgia.
Looks like Japan gets more KH related stuff that we don't get. I highly doubt they will translate it and if they do it will be years down the track and by then they will release a "final mix" version for japan only...
Now if only we'd get an English version. Perhaps in a few years.
I wrote this yesterday. It launched today.
