Kirby's Pinball Land is getting ported
The Australian Classification Board has rated one of the best (at least in my eyes) Game Boy games of all time, Kirby's Pinball Land! No seriously. When I was a kid, there were very few moments on the little white brick that were more satisfying than bouncing Kirby into the bumpers to rack up thousands upon thousands of points.
The listing doesn't say which system this little gem will be ported to, but it seems pretty obvious that the game will end up on either the 3DS Virtual Console or the upcoming Kirby 20th Anniversary Collection, which is bound for a Wii release later this year. I'm going to put my money on the first option.
I'm so happy to know that this re-release is coming. I know a lot of you probably don't like pinball games (curse you Sonic Spinball!) but I dare say that Kirby's Pinball Land is one bit of awesomeness that's worthy of any aspiring "Pinball Wizard."
If you happen to come across it, please be sure to keep an open mind and give it try.

Because many games have copyrights that need to be accepted by their developers before being allowed to release. Smash Brothers N64 took almost a year because of all the different characters. And Nintendo honestly does not make a ton of money off Virtual Console, so they are usually not in a rush of porting these things.

But doesn't Nintendo own those characters? I mean why should there be a copyright problem with Nintendo regarding a game they made and own the characters to?

Well atleast we're getting some new GB games for Virtua Console.

I played this game a ton as a kid. I'm glad that you give it the praise it deserves, Ryan. Not many others would. I'll support this and Pokemon Pinball any day!

Need some Tilt n Tumble action.

Didn't the Pinball Land cartridge have a built-in motion sensor? I wonder if the port will still have that, since both the Wii and 3DS are obviously capable of it.
ToTs_00
Nope that was a different Kirby game for the Gameboy call Kirby's Tilt 'n tumble

Oh right, my bad. I had a feeling there was another game I was forgetting.

I played the shit out of this game back in the days of family vacations and Gameboy Pockets. still, not that excited for it. pinball physics hasn't really translated well until, well this generation frankly. nowadays this game just feels floaty.
I do like the adventure theme though. and fighting bosses on each table.

Sounds cool, I'll pick it up
