Lab Zero Games gives status update for Skullgirls console patch, adds more to soundtrack
Skullgirls creator Lab Zero Games explained why a patch for the console version of the game is in limbo and announced more songs for the game's soundtrack.
Lab Zero Games CEO Peter Bartholow posted an update on Thursday that provided a status update on the patch for the game's console versions.
Bartholow explained production of the console patch was held up by several bugs in the game's PC version. He also noted Lab Zero's MikeZ got married and Konami hasn't responded to the team's request for assistance with Microsoft's Technical Requirements Checklist(TRC).
Owners of the game's digital soundtrack have access to three new songs: “Clear Breeze,” “Destiny in Her Hands” and “Where Money Flows Like Water.” Bartholow provided the following instructions:
- Go to https://www.humblebundle.com/store/keyresender
- Input the email address originally used for your soundtrack
- You will later receive a link to your Humble Bundle claim page
- Click the link, download, fill out necessary forms
- Bookmark the page for future downloads
Skullgirls is a 2D fighting game with gameplay based loosely on Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes. The game was expanded in terms of DLC characters and voice packs through an Indiegogo campaign that finished with $828,768 in funding.
For which platform did you buy Skullgirls?
Is it still worth it to pick it up at this point?
Bought it on PS3 and PC.
I hate the Master Race, so I got it on PS3. I hate the Master Race more now.
I got it for PC when i pledged on the indigogo campaign. Never played it before but heard about it a while back and wanted it. Didn't/don't have a PS3/Xbox 360 so it was a way to help them out and get the game, win win :D (P.S.I LOVE the game)
