Leisure Suit Larry Remake in the Works
Okay guys, hold on to your Hawaiian shirts. Replay has recently aquired the rights to the Leisure Suit Larry franchise and is planning to release an HD-Remake of the original game, Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards for Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, XBLA, PSN, On-Live and Steam.
But wait! There's more. If the game proves to be succesful - and it should, damnit - they'll go ahead and remake the rest of the series as well!
And there's even more! Series creator Al Lowe has stated that there might even be some brand-new installments in the series!
Phew, I'm kind of at a loss for words here. HD Remakes of some of the most revered adventure games of its time, helmed by the series creator and maybe even new installments...this should definitely be enough to make us forget about the more recent, craptacular installments in the series. Welcome back Larry, we missed you.

big fan of larry and his xxx adventures..but the one on the 360 is awful...no scratch that...its shit ..its that shit if you own it i suggest you take your copy out your back garden and smash it with a hammer and upload it to youtube

Hell yeah, I'll be getting this day 1. I've been a Larry fan for a long time. Just hearing that Al Lowe is back makes me very hopeful that this is successful. I'd love to see the entire series get the remake. All 6 of them. This is great news for old school adventure gamers like myself. New entries would be great too. this is some of the best news I've heard in a while, I'm surprised it didn't get hard news coverage.

This is the best news I've heard in a long time. A lot of the new releases these days are kind of crap, so I'm all about remakes of classics.
