Love SideScrollers? Tell us your favorite SideScrollers moments!

As you've known for a few weeks, we'll be recording our last SideScrollers for a while at MAGfest in early January with that episode airing January 8th here on ScrewAttack.  Aside from the requests we've made on the last few episodes, I've heard from a lot of g1s who've told me their favorite memories, segments and ridiculous comments that have been made every Wednesday (originally Tuesday) on "the most entertaining 30 to 45 minutes of your video game week" ever since ScrewAttack first launched February 15, 2006.  With that said, I wanted to give you, the g1s, the opportunity to appear in a "best of" episode of SideScrollers.

If you'd like to share your favorite memory and possibly be in the episode I'd love for you to create a video telling me/us about it.  Here's a few guidelines:

  • Make it, at most, 30 seconds long.
  • Identify yourself with your g1 name or real name - whatever you feel comfortable with.
  • Once it's done upload it to YouTube and then send me a link (Craig at ScrewAttack dot com) to it so I can download it and possibly put it in the episode.
  • Be specific! With over 8 years of episodes to sift through please tell me the exact episode and, if possible, time code of the episode where what you're talking about takes place. In all honesty, if you don't supply them I probably won't be able to include them.

I know SideScrollers has been very near and dear to a lot of people for a lot of years - it sure is for me as I'm the guy who came up with the show to begin with - but it's definitely a good time to take a break and allow us to focus on some other things.  Make no mistake, SideScrollers will return and it will be as ridiculous, fun and over-the-top as ever! I greatly appreciate your understanding as you, the g1s, are the backbone of what makes ScrewAttack what it is: home of the best community on the internet.
