The first alternate costume DLC pack for Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3,  the "Ancient Warrior Pack" was set for release tomorrow but Capcom has revealed that the release has been delayed until March 6 in North America and March 7 in Europe. 

Why did this happen? Because the developers decided to remove Magneto's "House of M" costume from the pack. Why did that happen? Capcom didn't say. But I would imagine it would have something to do with a certain monarch.

You may remember a story from last month, in which it was reported that the costume caused quite a stir in the Spanish Royal House because it's fairly similar to the ceremonial garb of one king  Juan Carlos.  So, this  whole situation is likely Capcom's attempt to appease the Spanish royals and thus cooling off the controversy. But without an official statement from Capcom, we can't say that for certain.

Will the price of the pack be reduced when it launches in March? Will the same price be charged for less content? Will the Master of Magnetism (or Master of Magnet for short) be given a replacement outfit? Will Obama complain about being in NBA Jam? 

We'll learn the answers to three of those questions when the pack draws closer to launch.
