Marvel Pinball 3D rolls toward the 3DS virtual shop
Do you like slapping around pinballs at super high speeds with wooden sticks? Or maybe you just desire a handheld version of the classic pinball machines? Either way, Marvel Pinball 3D will be releasing this upcoming Thursday for the Nintendo 3DS electronic shop. The title is being developed by Zen Studios, a software company which was previously responsible for several virtual pinball titles such as the well-received Pinball FX.
This version of the superhero game will feature the ability to switch between 2D and 3D visuals, and I imagine that the tilt function could be utilized in the form of motion controls. The game is an updated version of Marvel Pinball, a previously released arcade title which contained four interactive tables. Included tables are themed after Blade, Captain America, The Fantastic Four, and Iron Man. Once the game is released, it will cost approximately eight dollars, which is about two dollars cheaper than its console equivalents.
