Mass Effect 3 has game breaking bug on Xbox
A bug in the Xbox 360 version of Mass Effect 3 leaves many gamers, including myself, behind in the conclusion to a, until now, great science fiction experience. This is probably the last nail in the coffin for EA.
I can't even play the game due to a glitch on the Xbox 360 version of Mass Effect 3. After playing the game for one day, the next morning I tried to play the game again and to my surprise it started crashing before it even got to the title screen. At first, I assumed this was just a reading error on the part of the Xbox itself. I took the game out, examined it for scratches, and then tried to play it again to no avail. I then tried to install the game to my hard drive, which gave no results. Eventually, after many different attempts at getting the damn thing to work, I went to the Internet for help. Turns out, there is a game breaking bug that makes the game completely unplayable. This video basically sums up what occurs in the glitch.
There is also a thread on the Bioware social page detailing the issue. As of now, Bioware says that they are "investigating it" and that we may see a patch by the end of the month. As of now, there is no fix to the issue and there may be no compensation from EA or Bioware. This glitch is sure to enrage many Mass Effect fans and put another dent on ME3's already fragile reputation. Anyone else run into this issue?

That would....stink. I'm lucky I don't use a 360.

Been suffering from this for a week now with basically no word from BioWare despite a 26-page forum post.

SEE EA! This is what happens when you rush games that shouldn't be. Mass Effect should have been about Kicking the Reapers collosal asses, and leaving them in a smoldering pile of scrap metal. What we've got is a game that is half of what it should be. Its still good, but it should be better. Oh well, at least SFxT is still awesome.

That does suck. I have come across plenty of more minor bugs (although getting stuck in a wall and getting killed wasn't fun) in the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2 which I never found in the Xbox 360 version, but my copy of Mass Effect 3 won't be here until next week, so I don't know if those sorts of graphical and audio glitches will pop back up. I'm actually surprised that the Xbox 360 version has it, rather than the PS3 version, although it's possible that they both have it, I guess.

I had 1 small audio glitch, and a couple freezes during loading, but nothing major during all the playtime I put into this game. I'm sorry that some are having issues, but it's not necessarily the game's fault.

I disapprove of this
This is one of the rare instances where I'm glad that I don't work for GameStop anymore so I don't feel compelled to just dive headfirst into every game that comes out. I've got my N7 edition sitting on the shelf right now, waiting for the title updates to hit Xbox Live to fix this game breaking glitches. I have patience for most any game, I've waited this long a few more days I can wait some more.

looks like there is a NullPointerException in the save functions. it could be because the game saves or looks for the files in the wrong folders

Just 1 more reason to not buy this for a year.

So glad this didn't happen to me! :O
And with everything from the importing face glitch to this, I'm starting to feel that BioWare should probably have had one or two additional months of polishing. Pretty sure it's EA's fault for pushing it out though, sadly.

damn that's gotta suck, wouldnt be such a problem if they patch this quick but i can see how people can get frustrated especially after hearing that the whole thing ends badly
