Mega Man is not dead, says Svensson

Mega Man fans, we can kinda rejoyce! (I say "kinda" because, knowing Capcom, there's always a chance they could fuck it up all over again.) Nintendo Power has recently interviewed Capcom Senior VP Christian Svensson, and it looks like there's a bright for the Blue Bomber.

I can say with certainty that you've not seen the last of the Blue Bomber on consoles and handhelds, and, with luck, we'll be celebrating his 50th anniversary, including all of the games you're going to enjoy over the next 25 years. That said, an issue we've had in the past has been talking about games and announcing them before we're certain they're going to come out, which unfortunately has lead to profound disappointment for many fans. So for now, I'm going to have to stay mum about any details.

So, does that mean they'll continue the X series? Will they put out Mega Man 11? Or maybe an anniversary set similar to that of Street Fighter's? Either way I'm glad Capcom is reviving the Blue Bomber! Well, except for....this...pile..of..vomit....

But deep down, I have a feeling they're going to fuck it up again, eventually...

That's about all I have to say, but what are your thoughts, g1s? Are you glad to see confirmation that Mega Man is coming back? Or do you feel like they're bullshitting us and they're going to continue to fuck it up even more?
