Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance DLC looks very promising for fans
It is always nice when a game goes out of its way to provide you some truly original DLC and based on a recent translation from Platinum's blog, Metal Gear TV found Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is going to be doing just that for fans of Raiden’s latest adventure.
The first bit of DLC will give players a wooden sword that contains the “soul of Solid Snake” and every time you swing, Snake’s voice will be heard.
Along with that will be a variety of new VR Missions, including VR21 which has you playing as a Dwarf Gecko and VR19 which changes the game into a side-scrolling beat’em up!
The second DLC has you playing as Slipstream Sam in what looks like a prequel story chapter (he isn’t full cyborg based on his armor) and you will get the chance to destroy another Ray.
The third DLC will have you play as LQ-84i or Wolf, and will probably be a departure from the sword combat you’ve grown accustomed to in Rising.
So how about that? Some DLC that not only expands on various facets of the game that make Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance great, but it also offers some completely unique experiences as well! Kojima and Platinum continue to impress.
Pricing for the first batch of DLC looks to cost about $3 and will release in early April. “The VR Missions are PS3-exclusive only in North America. In Latin America and Europe, the DLC will be available for the Xbox 360 as well.”
