Metal Gear Movie wishlist

If you haven't heard yet, which you should have by now! a Metal Gear Solid movie has been announced at the Metal Gear 25th anniversary.

According to Adam Rosenberg from G4TV:

"Kojima apparently expressed a desire to bring names like Christopher Nolan, Hugh Jackman, Matt Damon, and Ben Affleck on board, though he should probably leave those negotiations to guys like Arad. Casting will likely have to wait until there’s a script and a director signed on"

With that being said, if this movie does become a reality, what actors do you want to see involved with this project? Who do you think should play Snake and the other characters from the Metal Gear universe? What director you think will be best suited for this film? Think of it as a wishlist.

I can definitely see Matt Damon and Christopher Nolan working out if they did get involved. What are your thoughts g1s?

Christopher Nolan would fit well as a director with this kind of thing what with his movies having a similar serious tone to the MGS games (except MGS has some nice humour sprinkled throughout). Richard Crenna (the guy who played Colonel Trautman in the Rambo movies) would've been excellent as Colonel Campbell, but he's dead (may he rest in peace). Can't really think of anyone else who should be in it.
