Mighty No. 9 coming to an end with over $3 Million raised, Mega Man 2 composer comes on board
Editor's Note: The Kickstarter has surpassed $3.5 million and Comcept is bringing the game to handhelds (Vita/3DS)! There is still 10 or so hours left to back this Kickstarter if you're interested.
Possibly one of the most hyped games to ever grace the crowd-funding website, Mighty No. 9, is coming (or has come) to an end on Kickstarter with over $3 Million raised of its original $900,000 goal. Coincidentally, developer Concept has also recently added a legendary composer to the studio already full the brim with veteran experience.
Since it’s pretty obvious Mighty No.9 looks to bring back the classic Mega Man sidescrolling action, who’s better to join the Japanese developer than Mega Man 2 composer Takashi Tateishi?! Here’s what the update had to say about the composer:
Tateishi will now be working on Mighty No. 9’s soundtrack alongside Matsumae (Mega Man 1) and Ippo Yamada (Resident Evil, Mega Man 9 and 10). The soundtrack will be included with all $40 pledges. To visit Mighty No.9’s Kickstarter page and possibly donate, click HERE.
So g1s what do you think? Is Mighty No.9 destined to have one of the best soundtracks in videogame history? Or are you just looking forward to the gameplay? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

By the time most people read this, the Kickstarter will either be over, or just about over.
Nevertheless, I'm thrilled that the game made it to 3DS. I'm already getting a digital copy, but now I may just shell out the caps for the portable version too.
