The mysterious unlicensed World of Warcraft theme park in China exists!
A reddit user by the name of FrancescaO_O has seen the mysterious unlicensed World of Warcraft theme park and has pictures to prove it. They’re from the UK and were previously teaching English in Shanghai, but took the next month to explore and it looks like they found something pretty damn cool! Called Joyland, the park exists in an area of Changzhou, China.
Rumor has it the park cost around $48 million to build and they’re already adding in a water park expansion. Rides have a “Happiness” or “Splendor” rating, which suggests that the park has already decided whether or not a ride sucks. There is also a 400 step staircase that leads to a castle on a hill. Inside that castle is a café… So the ride would probably be the 400 step hike. If you enjoyed the pics, give FrancescaO_O some karma and check out the rest of the gallery here.
