Namco Bandai has filed a new trademark for Tales of Xillia
It has been discovered that Namco Bandai has filled a European trademark for the latest entry in the long-running Tales series of RPGs, Tales of Xillia. Now, does this guarantee a western release for the game? Not exactly, but when you consider it's high sales numbers in Japan and the momentum the entire series has been gaining in western markets, I think it's pretty likely that it will be localized.
I know there are some Tales fans who have been less than happy with the lack of games in the franchise to hit western shores. However, with this trademark and the recent releases of Tales of The Abyss 3D and Tales of Graces ƒ, they should rest a little easier now that it appears the series still has a bright future outside of Japan.
Speaking of Tales of the Abyss 3D, you should check out Jared's review of it if you haven't already....and that's my shameless plug for the day.

Please make this happen and make it multi-console instead of fucking over part of the userbase. They should hav elearned from ToV, which is awesome, to just go multi-console after that.
yes it really was that short compared to most tales game which reach the 60 hour range but when i beat it the time counter was around 30 hours.
Was it really that short?
I have been waiting for good RPGs to come out on the PS3 too. It's one reason I haven't gotten it yet. Now with Tales of Graces f and this potential I just may finally get one sooner than I planned. I was originally going to get the PS3 when KHIII comes out.
And now i'll HAVE to buy a ps3
i really hope this makes it over here, Tales of Graces F dispointed me being only 30 hours long and i need more Tales!
Tales of Graces f is my personal GOTY so far...based purely on the number of times they managed to use the phrase "out the butt".
Unfortently Microsoft has the rights. But Funimation is localizing the movie at least.
still waiting on tales of Vesperia for the PS3
I want this game so bad! Please bring this game to the states Namco!
Yeah as long as the story is better the Graces f then Im pscyed
Ahaha Yes this is awesome. At least a European trademark signals that it will be released in Europe, and with the PS3 being region free.. Import AWAYY!!!
Of course I'd still rather take an NA release since that's easier on the wallet. Come on Namco Bandai, don't fail me again!
