The new live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are... aliens?

We all know there’s a new live-action flick of the Turtles on the way at Christmas Day 2013...but Michael Bay has confirmed that our Heroes in a half shell.......will have an alien origin.

"When you see this movie, kids are going to believe, one day, that these turtles actually do exist when we are done with this movie. These turtles are from an alien race and they are going to be tough, edgy, funny and completely lovable."

Ok, I may be one of the few people that will defend the Transformer Bay Movies...well except 2 but Bay f*cking up the Turtles is unforgiveable...NOT EVEN 4 KIDS F*CKED UP THE TURTLES! Sure they made Shredder the same Race as Krang in their version of the Turtles but they did not F*CK IT UP!...which is odd if you think about it.

Besides my feelings on the matter what do the g1s think of The Turtles having a newfound alien origin thanks to Bay?

Fuck that. I, like James and Mofo Mike, think that they should draw as much inspiration as possible from the comics with the turtles being dark, swearing and not PG in many ways at all. There's been some different versions of the turtles', Splinter's and Shredder's origin stories. But aliens? Fuck that. Removing the ooze from TMNT and making them aliens is like swapping kryptonite for bananas.
