Ni No Kuni to cast a spell over western audiences next January

6/2/12 10:20am

Namco Bandai has finally announced the North American and UK release dates for the highly anticipated PS3 RPG (and grand scale collaboration between Level-5 and beloved animation studio Studio Ghibli) Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch.

The publisher told Eurogamer that gamers in the UK can expect to pick up the game on January 25 2013, while also providing IGN with the game's E3 trailer (the first to feature the English voice cast BTW), which concludes with the January 22 North American launch date.

Speaking of the E3 trailer, here it is:

Unsurprisingly, the game looks absolutely stunning but would you really expect anything less from Studio Ghibli and Level-5?

I can't wait. This is probably going to be the best JRPG of this generation.

Only if Level-5 decides to make one. And considering their track record, (not a single xbox/xbox360 game) not gonna happen.

I love Level-5 Games classics like Dark Cloud, Dark Chronicle, and Rogue Galaxy. I love their stories; game-play, Presentation, and the music. But when they brought out White Knight Chronicle 1 & 2 i was slightly disappointed in a cliche story. This looks like the Level-5 I know and love!
