Ninja Gaiden 3 is releasing close to Spring Break
Ninja Gaiden 3 is going to have a big emphasis on humanizing Ryu Hayabusa, making him less a demonic Ninja and more sensitive human (LAME). Now players will have the option of sparing the lives of specific opponents and bring us closer to understanding "what it means to be a true dark hero." As Ryu is responsible for lives of his enemies, his cursed arm reminds him of their pain. This all sounds like quite the departure from the murderous behaviour of Ryu's past.
In addition to the information we received directly from Tecmo Koei, Joystiq has also revealed the screenshots from Ninja Gaiden's competitive multiplayer mode. There are little details about how it will work, but the screenshots indicate that it will support some form of Team Deathmatch and ninja customization. Lastly, Joystiq revealed that this game would be releasing in March of 2012. Spring break, WOOO!!! Enjoy some tasty screenshots of ninja on ninja action.

I'm not liking the whole "humanizing Ryu" aspect. Doesn't it defeat the purpose of the character being a ninja when people know too much about his personality?
