Ninja Turtles reboot put on hold

Well guys, it looks like the Internet won. For now.

Paramount has shut down pre-production on the extremely controversal Ninja Turtles reboot. The movie, produced by ADD-filmmaker Michael Bay and set to be directed by Jonathan Liebesman, was originally scheduled for a December 2013 release but has now been pushed back to May 2014, sources say. Other sources however claim that the movie has been put on hold indefinitely. In any case, the reason for the delay is said to be the  script.

Wow, the script has issues? Really? Well, I'd never.

The exact reason hasn't been given as of yet, but it's my guess that somebody accidentally read the script and noticed that it wasn't for the new Ninja Turtles movie at all, but actually the long-lost script for a Close Encounters of the Third Kind sequel. Some intern seems to have mixed up the covers.
