Nintendo Direct casually mentions new 3DS XL promotion for a FREE game

When wrapping up this most recent Nintendo Direct, Nintendo mentioned a few bundle options for various territories. In addition to North America getting the fabled ZombiU Wii U bundle, there is a new promotion for the 3DS XL and it even ties into the year of Luigi. To get a free game you must purchase a 3DS XL between now and April 30th, then purchase Pokémon Mystery Dungeon or Luigi’s Mansion between March 24th and April 30th.

Once you have both the console and game, register them on club Nintendo before April 30th and you will be eligible for a FREE digital copy of one of the following games via the Nintendo eShop. The choices include; Super Mario 3D Land, Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, Art Academy: Lessons for Everyone!, Star Fox 64 3D, or Freakyforms Deluxe: Your Creations, Alive!  It’s not a bad incentive for anyone who hasn’t picked up a 3DS and honestly, after playing through Fire Emblem: Awakening, I just might have to do that.
