Nintendo Germany rewards New SMB 2 millionaires with REAL gold coins
It looks like Nintendo of Germany is considering rewarding fans of New Super Mario Bros. 2 millionaires with a real minted gold coin. Valued at 220 euros the coin would be awarded to fans who’re able to collect the maximum number of coins in the game (9,999,999), making them Super Coin Millionaires! I can’t tell how many of these gold coins will be given away, but it does seem to imply that there are a limited number of coins. Here is a rough translation via Google hinting that reaching a goal of 9,999,999 doesn’t guarantee a reward…
It also looks like this promotion is limited to Germany, but it is being extended until December 31st of 2012. Any German g1s should who wish to consider entering can do so by sending an email to info@nintendo.de, with the following information.
As opposed to another contest the were running earlier I suppose. Anyone interested in trying to win some real gold in New Super Mario Bros. 2?

It says, there is only one winner. When there are more players with the highest score, it will be chosen by lot. It does not say, you need to have 99.999.999 coins, you just have to think, you have the most coins of all the send-in photos. Also it says, it is a follow-up to a former contest, in which you just had to have 1 million Coins and can win merchandise of the game. That contest is extended till 31. December, while the other one just started.
