Nintendo has a partnership with Umbra Software

Nintendo just recently made a partnership with the Umbra Software. Umbra Software is the middleware provider that can render specific software for a console. Other developers, such as Bungie, Guerrilla Games, and Square Enix, use this software for their games.

Mass Effect 3 for Wii U will be the first game to have the Umbra Software, and it will launch this fall. This is another win for Nintendo. So do you think this really helps not only the Wii U, but also developers?
