Nintendo launches official Wii U Facebook page as a news source
Nintendo launches an official Facebook page for the Wii U, accompanied by a short announcement from Reggie Fils-Aime. It is claimed to be an official source of info and news regarding the console.
Editor's Note: So I guess this means that the Wii U isn't getting a name change? Lame. But at least Nintendo is providing fans and journalist's (such as myself) a great go-to news source for just about everything this new console will have to offer. Well played Reggie.
Just recently, Nintendo launched an official Facebook page for the Wii U. It was accompanied by a video announcement from NoA president Reggie Fils-Aime .
As stated by Reggie, information and news regarding the console from E3 onward will be posted to the official Facebook page . The announcements will be given directly by Nintendo, and therefore can be confirmed as they are posted.
The official Facebook page can be found here, at facebook.com/WiiU

They might have just used the name Wii U for the page so people could find it more easily until E3
