OXM reveals some new details for The Witcher 3: Wild hunt
According to the Official Xbox Magazine, new details were recently revealed in regards to The Witcher 3 currently in development by CD Projekt Red. While they did not get the details directly from the studio itself, several German sources also covering the game gave the new details to OXM. One of the new details dealt with transportation in the game which was revealed to involve the choice between horses and boats as the main forms of traveling the game's world.
Several details were also revealed to be related to the game's new hunting mode with the game world now being influenced by a day and night cycle. The new mode also means some changes were made to Geralt who now has the ability to climb and jump. The open world for the game was also teased to be taking inspiration from the Fallout and Assassin's Creed series in regards to the combat system and how townsfolk behave. Quick Time Events (QTE) will not be in the game, unlike in previous games.
While the back story regarding Geralt will be mostly unchanged, the game does feature a save import option to help customize the character a bit for people with saves from earlier games in the series. The final big detail was the target of about 50 hours needed to complete the main story for the game.

They're usually off by a bit when it comes to "game length" what I'd like to know is "Is the game going to the next console, or will it be coming to the 360?"

"Now influence by a day and night schedule!?"
Both Witcher 1 and Witcher 2 had day and night cycles and were influenced by it. Also QTE were only in Witcher 2, not in the first Witcher.
