[PAX] External storage will not be an option for Xbox One at launch
I'd advise you to do the same for getting butthurt over someone's opinions about their preference in consoles and then settling into your own confirmation bias when they point out that you're wrong. You freely admit that you never saw any of my comments directed at Fulchrum so obviously you haven't seen all of my comments on this site when it comes to when content comes out; yet that's still apparently enough for you to make a blanket statement about me. Christ man, you don't see me going, "Get mad Microsoft fanboy! Your system sux! PS forever!!!".
But I'm not even going to pretend that any of this is going to sink into your head since you're probably going to blow it off. It's lamentable that you think that pointing out flaws in a company's competitors automatically means that the person saying those things likes said company. You got a lot to learn buddy.
You're right, I never saw any of your comments directed at Fulchrum. I have seen you jump on rumors without any signs of rational thought, bash Microsoft and Nintendo without any such attacks directed at Sony, and immediately assume the worst of everything Microsoft does even going so far as to ignore the statements given purely to attack the company and their next console. It doesn't matter what consoles you claim to own or prefer, everything I've seen from you over the past several months clearly indicates a fanboy. If that's not true you should probably stop laughing and spend a little more time worried about the fact that you act like one of douchiest demographics in existence.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! That's rich. You obviously never saw any of my comments when that douche Dr. Wondertainment (i.e. Fulchrum) was on here. This just made my day. For the record, the only Sony product I own is a PS2 and I think that the Xbox 360 is better than the PS3. But please, call me a fanboy, it's funny.
Thx, I missed that detail
You weren't bashing them for solving it "later" you claimed that they would never solve it. You immediately assumed that the problem will never get fixed. That reads like a fanboy. The fact that you admit to bashing Nintendo as well but not Sony and the comments I saw you make on other blogs about the Xbox One both before and after the reveal only further encourages me to believe that you're not pointing out BS but hating on anything that isn't your beloved Sony.
You are no longer required to download games. That was part of the policy switch. Now that you no longer have to access the internet and no longer have access to the Cloud on a regular basis you can play on disk alone without having to download anything.
More like non-committal phase out. They are testing the waters to see how much backlash they receive. They are saying that you won't be able to use external storage on the XBone but there is always the possibility for it in the future. Translation... we are removing a feature to unless there is too much backlash in which case we will possibly add it back in the future.
I wouldn't call it backpeddling, they aren't completely abandoning external storage support. More like... Delaying. But it's still one more reason to make fun of how bad Xbox One will be.
This isn't a big deal. I still have the 40gb PS3 and whenever I run out of space I delete a game I don't play anymore. You can always download it back if you have to.
You can always use the cloud if you some how manage to fill 500Gb before they patch it
they love money, thats why they wont allow you to upgrade the internal 500gb to a bigger 2.5hdd(like the ps4 and the ps3) and they will probably sell a overpriced proprietary hdd
So Microsoft is backpeddling on policy once again. Only this time it's from an acceptable policy to a shitty one.
"Later" is not specific, "later" can be at any point. I bash on Nintendo too since any worthwhile games for the WiiU are going to coming out at some vague "later" date. When Sony throws out an issue that they'll solve "later" then I'll bash them for that too; this is not specific to Microsoft.
Are you so excited to shit on someone you think it being a hater that you can't even spend the few seconds to think that a person is simply pointing out something as BS and not trolling?
If your required to download all the games, no that's not a lot of space.. Add in what caboose said with all the extra media the system is supposed to do, and that half terabyte will be gone quick
I highly doubt it would take Microsoft 7 years to come up with a simple patch for their console. In the time between the console's launch and the release of the patch, It seems very unlikely that anyone would be able to fill 500GB worth of storage. Even then, you can always just clear some space by removing whatever you don't watch/play very often. I'm making do with a 60 GB HDD on my 360, and people are complaining about 500? That's just petty.
They it created not as a console, but an "entertainment box*". *Your entertainment may vary
Then it's a good thing external storage will be patched in after the console is released and not at the end of the console's lifespan. Are you really so excited to shit on anything Microsoft does that you can't even read the 53 blue italicized words that point that out?
Over 7 years, with patches and games and whatever else people download on there (especially since they want it to be a multimedia thing). That can go fast.
It's not that bad. 500GB is more than enough memory for everyone. That's half a terabyte
Not 6 months fast...
