[PAX] New Mega Man Game in development, says Capcom
According to Capcom's community manager, a new Mega Man game is in its very early stages of development. Mega Man 4 and 5 have also been given dates for their induction into the 3DS's Virtual Console: April 25th and May 16th, respectively.
Editor's Note: Capcom did clarify to Destructoid that "there are still discussions going on about [Mega Man] and that we won't announce anything until something is ready. We have not confirmed there is a MM game yet." So I am not sure what to think anymore.
Capcom seemed to hit two home runs in a row today at its "World of Capcom" panel. After announcing a remake of the NES classic DuckTales, community manager Brett Elston announced that a brand new Mega Man game is currently in development. Unfortunately, he also said that it's too early to give any details.
He also said that the fourth and fifth installments of the original NES series will be arriving to the 3DS's vitual console on April 25th and May 16th respectively.
I feel like Capcom's pulling this move as if to say "THERE. Now will you stop complaining?" and I, for one, am right with them on this one. But what do YOU think, g1's? I know there are a lot of you with some vile hatred for the company, but do you think this could be a step in the right direction? Lemme know in the comments!

capcom already denied the announcement.

Megaman should be sold to either Platinum or Nintendo. While they're at it Okami, V.Joe, and God Hand to Platinum for sure.
MagnumMagnus
Whoever'll treat it right, I don't care who gets it.

Then it should stay with Capcom. Can you name a single bad Mega Man game released in past five years? MML3 had potential, but they came to their senses before harm was done. And mobile phone titles don't count because they're always bad.
