So I'm sure you've all heard about PETA (People for the ethical treatment of animals) and the big fuss they made of Mario wearing a Tanooki suit back when Mario 3D Land was new. Well, they're back at it, this time protesting against Pokemon Blaack and White with their new parody, free to play flash game, "Pokemon Black and Blue: Gotta Free 'em All!"

The game plays out like any sort of bad flash Pokemon game. The combat is turned based, except it pits you against your trainer rather than another Pokemon. The way they depict the trainer is utterly hilarious too.

Disturbingly enough, for progressing through the game you unlock clips of animals being abused in real life. Gee, that's something I really wanted to see.

So what do you think G1s? Is Pokemon teaching kids to abuse and mistreat animals? (Even though every Pokemon movie has dealt with the theme of Pokemon being friends and not tools) Or is PETA overreacting yet again?

This bit of dialogue threw me into a rage.

I'll say this much, sometimes I like to throw my Chao's at a wall in SA2, but I'm not going to find a cat hurl it at one too.
