Pinball Cafe
Aww... Tilt.
Pinball.. At some point in your life, you may have had the chance to play one.
I remember playing these in the Arcade attached to the old movie theater back home.
This past Wednesday , g1 JamesRonald and myself visited a Pinball Cafe , located at 1662 Queen St W, Toronto.
This was a complete throw back to my childhood.
Pinball machines lining the room,
game cabinets, board games, and all the sweets you could want.
Most of the machines were the standard fare of .25cents, while some of the games were a $1.00.
The service at the shop is wonderful, the Owner is very nice, and enjoys telling stories of how he came across certain cabinets.
Another neat fact we learned, is that the Owner also runs another business of custom building cabinets.

Awesome blog, Kainin. I wish there were a cafe with this type of atmosphere near me. Thanks for posting your pictures.

Thank You! I was surprised to know it was within walking distance of my apartment. I hope to follow up with more locations.

By the way, I know the Niagara Falls area is about 1.5-2 hours away from Toronto if you take the QEW, so I wanted to ask if you've been to the arcade at the base of the Skylon Tower lately. I'm pretty sure it's still there. If you can make a video or take photos of it if you go there in the future, that would be great. I remember seeing WWF Wrestlefest the last time I was there.

I have not been to Niagra, yet. I am actually planning to make a blog series of awesome gaming hang-outs.

Very nice Kainin. How were you able to make a gallery of photos like that? I thought that wasn't available to g1s.
I've been planning for a while now to open up something like this but with mainly arcade games from the 70's, 80's, and up through the mid 90's along with classic consoles from the 8-bit & 16-bit eras. I have quite a few arcade PCBs but I'd have to build cabinets for them & I don't have the money, time, or health to do that now.

Aww, so many questions to ask, but I'll limit myself. How often does the owner restock on the sodas in the fridge? When The Addams Family pinball machine plays the theme, does it use the flippers to mimic snapping fingers? And do those board games ever get played? Also, love Simpson's Pinball Party.
Kainin
The owner gets his shipment every Monday, so he restocks quite regularly. Yes, the flippers on the Addams Family machine mimic the snap motion. The board games get played quite often, as there are many people who frequent the cafe.

Nice gallery Kainin. I love that face James gives at the last picture.
