The PlayStation Store revamp has been delayed

As you’ve probably heard by now, Sony is currently preparing PSN for a revamp of The PlayStation Store. In fact, the revamp has already launched in Australia, New Zealand, and several countries in Europe. However, it turns out there’s been a few snags, which happen to have some unfortunate consequences.
Sony says the service isn’t quite perfect yet, as a few “inconvenient” technical issues have popped up and while most of these problems have been solved, Sony has decided to delay the North and South American launch of the revamp until the service is 100% ready to go.
There’s no word on a new launch date at this time but Sony says it will keep its fans posted, so we’ll be sure to report on the new date when it becomes available.

But that screensot looks an awful lot like XBLM... Which is not a good thing.

I got a sneak peak at the new 'app' on Wednesday, it looks nice, but it takes longer to load and longer to navigate to where you want to go. Hopefully they have listened to feedback and this is why it was taken back down. On the plus side, most information is clearer and better laid out than the old one, but I'd still prefer the customisable structuring to the lists and be able to message from within the store, which you still can't with the new app.
