Pokémon Darkrai distribution for free on May 9th
Darkrai, the legendary Pokémon from the 4th generation series will be distributed on starting at May 9th. This is for those who want to expand their Pokémon capture list or for those who just want another Darkrai! To be able to obtain Darkrai you will need to have a copy of Pokémon Black or White with a wireless internet connection and must have fewer than 11 wonder cards. These are the basic tasks for getting the pitch black Pokémon Darkrai.
This is your chance so mark May 9th on your calendars! This is good for me as I plan to transfer all my Pokémon from Black to the sequel. I want to know what you guys think. Do you really care about these distributions? Are these Pokémon really worth getting or are you just tired of it? OR does this help your Pokéquest in any way at all?

Limited-time distributions are stupid, as are distributions for "unlock" items that give you access to content that's already in the game. If you're going to code Celebi or Darkrai or Keldeo into the game in the first place, make them available to EVERYONE by default from the beginning. Don't just not use the content or force it to be given out via distribution at a later date. I mean, Arceus had event sequences coded to be in DPPt, but they require a key item; a key item which isn't found in-game and was NEVER distributed. Such a waste of time. And, we know that Keldeo was programmed into BW, but it isn't going to be available until the sequels. One word summarizes my thoughts on this: WHY?!?!
I do think that *special* distributions for ALTERNATE versions of Pokemon are fine, however. The shining Legendary Beasts available last year via GameStop/Wi-Fi are a great example of this. They're special in that they have the unique coloring and a unique moveset, but it wasn't the ONLY way to get them. Want a Celebi though? Oops, gotta wait for a download event. -_- DLC has ruined so many things since its adoption. Instead of rewarding players with unlockable secrets like games used to, now content is reappropriated and "distributed" later. I hate modern gaming sometimes.

Now only if Nintendo did this with their other games, like new levels and areas in Kid Icarus, Legend of Zelda and Mario

At least they don't make you pay for their "DLC". *cough**Capcpom**cough*

Could go back to the old way and have to go to a special Nintendo event for these Pokemon. That way only people lucky enough to have said store can get them. At least it's free man.
