Polish gamers enjoy Resident Evil 6 early due to happy[?] accident

8/31/12 4:20pm

With slightly over a month to go before the big launch of Resident Evil 6, a Polish retailer has accidentally released what appears to be the German version of the game.

Rafał Baranowski, writer for the Polish site NeoGo, heard murmurs about the game’s availability in the city of Poznan, so he decided to head on over there to check out. Surely enough, he was able to find himself a copy at a local shop.

If you don’t believe him, he shared the following images to prove the legitimacy of his claims:

Well, it looks someone has some explaining to do.

But don't worry Capcom. NeoGo doesn’t plan on spoiling too much of the game, as Baranowski told Joystiq, "I will play deeper into the game over the weekend, but please note that we do not plan to make tons of videos. Capcom would kill us."

In conclusion, if you happen to be a Resident Evil  fan who lives in Pozan and can understand German, you may want to try finding yourself a copy, as the rest of us wait for October 2 to come.
