Entries from Treyarch often have a zombie mode, which is a multiplayer strategy experience that involves fending off an endless army of the undead. Players need to rack up kills in order to gain points which can unlock new areas, but the difficulty also greatly increases over time. It's a fun experience and necessitates a lot of planned teamwork amongst other things.

Something that hadn't been done in past titles was a campaign mode involving the zombies, meaning there would more of a story adventure and not just an arcade-like experience. The possibility for this appearing in Call of Duty: Black Ops II, the next upcoming entry in the video game series, comes from a lengthy game description on Amazon, a massive online retailer. This could be potentially interesting in terms of possible gameplay mechanics: Maybe there would be branching paths, maybe there could be an expanded narrative, or perhaps there might be a tie in to the main story campaign.
