PSN pre-order files accidentally cause GTAV content leak
*very Minor soundtrack spoiler* I saw some of the soundtrack and thats it. Lots of good 90s rap, also an 80s radio station. Eddie Murphy's Party all the time is in the game. Automatically best soundtrack ever.
I've stopped believing that these "leaks" are unintentional. I'm sure that most of them are done on purpose just to hype up the game little by little, simply because there has been more of them the past 2 years than the past 10 years before that combined. Kind of like the Mirror's Edge 2 wiki site that popped up not to long ago and was then taken down again. It was so obvious that it was intentional, because what webmaster, who probably works for the dev, would be so incompetent that they launch an entire site by mistake? It's not the first time devs or publishers have done this in order to draw attention to their games.
"The term "release to manufacturing", also known as "going gold", is a term used when a software product is ready to be delivered or provided to the customer. This build may be digitally signed, allowing the end user to verify the integrity and authenticity of the software purchase. A copy of the RTM build known as the "gold master" is sent for mass duplication. RTM precedes general availability (GA), when the product is released to the public."
The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct also went gold before it went into stores. It was NOT an indication.
Though I ain't going to lie the game seems to have a pretty good soundtrack so far with N.W.A and all those early 90's raps. Though still nothing about the Alchemist !
No but it`s an indicator that there`s a high demand for the product, which is a good sign.
Apparently my comment didn't go through so I try again.
Going gold only means it goes into mass production to be shipped for the consumers. It doesn't mean anything regarding sales and the likes.
They found out Ben Affleck is voicing all the characters.
