Pure Nintendo Magazine Kickstarter project found
Pure Nintendo Magazine is on Kickstarter, and it looks like a spiritual successor to Nintendo Power.
As many people know, spending an insane amount of time on the internet can lead you past the abyss, or make you see something worthwhile. This is one of those cases, the latter I mean:
That video was the promo for a Magazine published by Nintendo-News website Pure Nintendo, a sort-of spiritual successor to Nintendo power, which if you haven't heard by now, is ceasing publication. The project is currently on Kickstarter, where it has accumulated already 25% of the necessary cash to fund the project. It requires 20,000 dollars to fund by October 11th
If you happen to be interested, the link to the Kickstarter project is here

And the most recent online issue is here. However the Kickstarter project is for it to go retail, so as to be made for all fans:

It will be a magazine "by fans, for fans", have bi-monthly publication, contain boss guides, unlockables, etc. much like Nintendo Power. However, unlike NP, it will also be available digitally.
There are also various perks depending on the amount you donate, from a one-year subscription to t-shirts and hoodies. And if all goes as planned, the first issue should be seen by Oct. 20th.

While it is a big attempt for a revival....I just...don't know.

As somebody who isn't a fan of Nintendo Power (not that I wouldn't like it, just never bought it, not sure if it exists in england) I have to say that i think most fans of NP will agree with me when I say, it's not nintendo power... that one fact alone makes this lose my interest.

Although I think it's too soon (EGM shut down then was up and running in like a year) I think it's great that they are doing this, good luck guys!!!

Personally, I'd rather have Nintendo Power go out gracefully. It just wouldn't feel right to replace it.

i think i have to agree with that one. NP has a lot of history and it just wont feel right replacing it.

Well, another article accepted, another week and a half of regret and lowered self esteem.

Ok... I understand that kickstarter can make some really awesome stuff happen but it seems like ever since the G1's made two kickstarters happen, the front page of this site has had a lot of kickstarter notices go up. I mean it's like a hole bunch of greedy f***s saw that we put are money where are mouth is, and is now current going "look here's is a bunch of people with money to burn! Just post on screwattack and fat f***s will just through money at your cause"(if it's "game" related of coarse).
All i am saying is give it a rest...SHIT.
