République reaches its Kickstarter goal, but just barely
With only four days left and over $200,000 to go, things were looking rather bleak for Ryan Payton’s new game République. It appeared that Camouflaj would not reach their half-million dollar goal before their Kickstarter campaign came to an end. In spite of this fact, they managed to garner enough support thanks to social media and some generous backers.
République is now green lit and Camouflaj will need to deliver some time in 2013. Not only will the game be coming to iOS devices, but Camouflaj has increased their scope to include PC and Mac. Billed as a AAA title for mobile devices, the game will feature “intense action” and "a believable, non-sexualized female lead". Here is the livestream of the party right now.
