Some questions and answers about me. This blog is going to have a lot of Nintendo stuff in it just so you know.
1. First video game.
I got both these games around the same time I got my GBA.
2. Favorite character.
Zero from the Mega Man X series. He completes missions with out whining about how long the fighting must go on.
3. A game that is underrated.
Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime. One of my favorite DS games.
4. Guilty pleasure game.
Mega Man X6 was one of the first X games I beat and was also the game that got me into liking Zero.
5. Game character you feel you are most like.
Gourmet Guy from Paper Mario. I'm always hungry and I love sweets.
6. Most annoying character.
Flame Hyenard from Mega Man X7. If you've played X7 you understand why I picked this turd, but if you've never played the seventh game in the X series then just watch this video.
7. Favorite game couple.
Sora and Kairi from the Kingdom Heats games. I haven't played many games that have couples in them unless you count Mario and Peach or Sonic and Amy.
8. Best soundtrack.
The Mega Man franchise. I know this one was expected, but Mega Man games have great music.
9. Saddest game scene.
Grovyle's Sacrifice from Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Time, Darkness, and Sky.
10. Best gameplay.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Super Mario Bros. 3. Sonic 2 got me into the 2D sonic games and SMB3 is just awesome.
11. Gaming system of choice.
Retro choice: N64
Current choice: 3DS
12. A game everyone should play.
Dragon Warrior/Quest III. One of the best RPG's I've ever played.
13. A game you've played more than five times.
Kingdom Hearts II
Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3
14. Current or most recent gaming wallpaper.
15. Post a screenshot from the game you're playing right now.
16. Game with the best cutscenes.
The intro for Super Mario 64. It showed that you were in for a great Mario game.
17. Favorite antagonist.
Dr. Eggman/Robotnik and Dr. Wily. The two doctors are evil, but have a part of them that people love. Dr. Eggman has his overly dramatic laugh and Dr. Wily has his eyebrows of doom!
18. Favorite protagonist.
Zero and Sonic the Hedgehog.
19. Picture of a game setting you wished you lived in.
20. Favorite genre.
I like to play platformers, RPG's, and puzzle games. Although I don't mind trying other types of games.
21. Game with the best story.
I haven't played that many Zelda games, but I enjoy their story.
22. Game sequel which disappointed you.
Dragon Warrior II. Although it added a lot to the series, DWII was overly difficult. The monster difficulty is unbalanced rather than gradually increasing as you progress. The Prince of Cannock is worthless when you get the Princess of Moonbrook and monsters gang up on the weakest member on your team (Prince of Cannock) rather than attacking the hero who is a tank.
23. Best graphics and art style.
Art style: Rayman Origins
Realistic: Battlefield 3
Retro: Yoshi's Island
24. Favorite classic game.
Mega Man 6
25. A game you are planing on playing.
Mario Party 9. Mario Party games are the best way to piss friends off, with the new car mechanic it seems like it will be harder to screw friends over. But the new style of gameplay looks fun and the mini-games don't look like they suck.
26. Best voice acting.
Portal 2. GLaDOS and Wheatly's lines are hilarious. Especially the cutscene where Wheatly becomes GlaDOS .
27. Most epic scene ever.
The final battle in Sonic Colors mainly for the music.
28. Favorite game developer.
If you've been reading this blog up to this point it should be no surprise that Nintendo is my favorite.
29. A game you thought you wouldn't like, but ended up loving.
Sonic Colors was the first 3D sonic game I tried. After looking at reviews of the past 3D games I was expecting this to be another wad of blue hedgehog poo, but I was surprised to see that it controlled great (except for the jumping).
30. Favorite game of all time.
Dragon Warrior/Quest III. However, Mario 3, MMX, Sonic 2, and Mario Galaxy are also on my top 5 favorite games of all time.
Thanks Asai Nero Tran for the idea and I hoped fellow g1's liked it.
Just a heads up that on Friday, December 13th we'll be implementing two options for commenting on ScrewAttack. In addition to the traditional comment system we'll also be adding the ability to post directly via your Facebook account. Thanks!
I would recommend the Game Boy Color version. The GBC version is based off the Super Famicom version that was never released in the US and it adds the thief class and a bunch more weapons, armor, and other things.
I'm the youngest in my family at nineteen. I'm very quiet out in public, but when I'm around friends and family my fun personality shows. When I'm bored I tend to doodle or play video games. I grew up playing the SNES, Nintendo 64, Game Boy, GBA, and Playstation 1 and 2. Although the Nintendo 64 is my favorite of the bunch.
My favorite game franchises include: Mega Man, Mega Man X, Mario, Dragon Quest, Kingdom Hearts, Sonic, Pokemon, Banjo-Kazooie, and Kirby.
