Randy Pitchford assures fans that a new Brothers in Arms game is still on the way

Fans of the Brothers in Arms franchise were happy to hear back in September that developer, Gearbox, announced Furious 4 wouldn't be part of the series, as the game would be taking the franchise in a bold new direction. But ever since then, the developer hasn't mentioned much regarding details for future installments until now. A recent interview with Gearbox’s Randy Pitchford has revealed that fans can expect a new “authentic” Brothers in Arms game.
In the interview with IGN, Pitchford mentioned the response the developer received from the series’ hardcore fans after the announcement of Furious 4 at 2011’s E3...
"Our die-hard Brothers in Arms, our guys that love Brothers in Arms for what it is, they were like ‘what the fu*k is that? That is not what I want. I hate that, because that means I’m not gonna get what I want. I’m gonna get that, so fu*k that, I want to burn it down.”
However, Pitchford assured fans that the next true Brothers in Arms game will eventually see the light of day…
"We love Brothers in Arms. The other pledge is that there will be an authentic Brothers in Arms game. Again, we haven’t announced that yet, but I’m really excited about where that’s going too. We’ll announce these things in due course. There's a lot of neat things we have going on."

I don't know, after BL2 and Aliens. Really can't trust Gearbox anymore with this.

Never played one, but i'll see how things go with this title. I'm cautious given how Aliens Infestation has turned out, despite the supposed 80% outsourcing they've claimed.
